We couldn't find the gym we wanted, so we built it
Two shipping containers, a patch of Kent woodland, and a fairly stubborn refusal to settle for a commercial gym.
We spent years in commercial gyms and came to the same conclusion about them. The problem was never the training. It was everything around it: the queues, the crowds, the strip lighting, the feeling of being watched.
The obvious answer was to rent a unit on an industrial estate. We didn’t want that either. So we bought two shipping containers and started again from nothing.
Designed and built from scratch.
We designed both studios and built them ourselves, which meant every decision was ours to get right: where the light falls, what the floor feels like, where the rig sits, how it sounds with the doors open. Nothing was inherited from whoever had the space before, because nobody had.

What it means for your session
Building it ourselves meant we could build two. That turned out to be the part that matters most: two studios is what lets us book one client at a time and still run a business. It’s the reason your session is genuinely private rather than just quiet.
Nobody is waiting for the rack you’re on. Nobody is watching what you’re lifting. You can put your own music on and take as long as you need between sets, because for that hour there is nobody else on site.
